Samuel began his career at the Société Générale Business Law Department before joining, as a lawyer, Holman Fenwick & Willan (HFW)’s Corporate Law Department. In 2006, Samuel founded ROOM Avocats, and, in 2010, the Lausanne office.

Admitted to the Paris Bar in 1999, Samuel is admitted to practice in the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland, since 2010 and became a member of the Vaud Bar Association (Ordre des Avocats Vaudois - OAV) since 2011. For the past 20 years Samuel’s core specialisations have been business and tax law, mergers and acquisitions, capital investment, transfer of family-owned businesses, assets structuring and private equity operations. His practice covers a vast area of issues among which French-Swiss acquisitions, acquisitions with leverage effect, joint ventures and corporate restructuring. Samuel divides his time between our Lausanne and Paris offices.

Marc Olivier-Martin

Philippe Meilhac

Clotilde Cattier

After more than eight years of practice in the corporate tax/mergers-acquisitions Department of Taj (Deloitte network) and STC Partners, Clotilde has enlarged her expertise to property and personal taxation issues. Her dual competence (corporate and property taxations) gives her a comprehensive understanding of the issues facing company managers.

Since her resettling in Switzerland which took place in 2013, Clotilde has been focusing on restructuring operations, mergers and acquisitions, property investment as well as patrimonial and transmission issues.

Gwendoline Cattier

After starting her career in a law firm in Monaco and with Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier, Gwendoline Cattier joined Frédéric Fuchs in 2006 in the competition and distribution department and then in 2010 Pierre Deprez, Vincent Fauchoux and Jean-Christophe André in the economic law department of DDG.

Gwendoline then became Legal Manager and then Legal Director of Ladurée where she contributed to the development of the international franchise network from 2014 to 2018.

With this experience in a French family group, Gwendoline joined Fidal at the end of 2018 where she was in charge of the competition and consumer contracts service line for the Marseille, Avignon, Toulon and Nice offices.

In May 2022, Gwendoline becomes a member of the ROOM AVOCATS network with the creation of a branch in Marseille dedicated to the practice of competition, distribution, consumer and commercial contracts.

Barbara Le Bel
